Division Chief Bungartz began his law enforcement career with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in August 1986. Over the course of his 37-year career, he has worked in every division, with 28 of those years dedicated to the Patrol Division. Now serving as Division Chief of Patrol, Chief Bungartz brings a deep well of knowledge and experience to his leadership. He is committed to mentoring the next generation of deputies, recruits, and cadets while upholding the agency’s standards for professional and effective public safety services.
