Division Chief McKinney has worked for the Adams County Sheriff’s Office for over 23 years, including 12 years with the SWAT Team. He is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command and the Metro North Leadership Program. Chief McKinney has held leadership roles in several divisions and is a strong believer in servant leadership. He is passionate about helping employees grow in their careers and about building strong relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve through proactive, partnership-based policing.
