Commander Heiter has been with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office since 2002. A graduate of Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, Chief Heiter spent 18 years in the Detective Division before taking on leadership of the FLATROCK Regional Training Center. He is focused on developing the center into a model for excellence in first responder training and education. With a forward-thinking and innovative mindset, Chief Heiter is committed to shaping the next generation of law enforcement professionals through high-quality instruction and professional development.
