The Patrol Division is the backbone of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, delivering frontline law enforcement services to the community.

About the Patrol Division

The Patrol Division provides law enforcement services, community policing, and traffic safety to the communities of unincorporated Adams County.

Tactical sections and units include Patrol, Plains, Traffic Safety Unit, DUI Enforcement, Motorcycle Unit, Juvenile Services Unit, SWAT, Mobile Field Force, K-9 Unit, Bomb Unit, Mounted Posse, Reserve Deputies, and the Community Resource Team.

Fingerprinting appointments are available by registering online. Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmed time and location.

Traffic citations can be paid in one of three ways:

  1. Online (excluding parking citations): adamscountycitations.com
  2. By Mail:

  3. In Person:
    Traffic Safety Section window in the main lobby
